About B.Ed — Bachelor of Education

B.Ed is a 2-year NCTE-approved teacher-training degree. It prepares graduates for school teaching (Classes 6–12) and is mandatory for govt. teacher jobs (TGT/PGT) and required for CTET, TET, NVS, KVS exams.

Salary

Govt. school teacher (7th Pay): ₹35,400–1,12,400/month. Private schools: ₹20,000–60,000/month.
