MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) is India's premier medical degree, spanning 5.5 years including a mandatory one-year rotating internship. The programme covers pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical subjects and prepares doctors to diagnose, treat and prevent human diseases.
After MBBS, graduates can pursue MD / MS / Diploma specialisations via NEET-PG, or appear for USMLE / PLAB for practice in the USA / UK.
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
Age: minimum 17 years on December 31 of admission year. No upper age limit (as per 2023 Supreme Court ruling).
